TO INSTALL

Step 1: Insert the pilot bit into the SDS MAX adapter.

Step 2: Once in place, tap firmly against a hard surface to secure. The pilot bit should not be able to slip out if secured correctly.

TO UNINSTALL

Step 1: Insert the included nail into the release hole located on the side of the SDS MAX adapter.

Step 2: Tap the nail to release pilot bit. Pilot bit should be able to slide out naturally when properly released.
